The Gateway at Ursinus College

Location: Collegeville, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: Strategically situated at the prominent
intersection of East Main Street and College Drive, The
Gateway establishes the entrance to campus. Upon
entering the Borough of Collegeville from the east along
East Main Street, East 5th Avenue marks the beginning of
the procession into the Ursinus College campus. Currently,
the land on the northwest corner of this intersection is
owned by the Collegeville Fire Company. With aspirations
to build an addition to the existing fire station into
a portion of this parcel, the fire company has opened
the door to discussions with the college as to how this
currently vacant corner can be better utilized to represent
both institutions.

The project is currently under construction with expected
completion of Spring 2020.
