Campus Heights Amenity Clubhouse
Owner/User: College Town Communities
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: Located adjacent to Penn State‘s
Harrisburg campus, Campus Heights Clubhouse will serve
as an amenity for the two student housing communities in
Middletown Borough. In response to the preferences of the
student body and the current landscape, the design of the
aims to create a contemporary mountain lodge aesthetic
featuring lounge spaces, recreational areas, and fitness
facilities. The 10,455 SF building also includes a pool,
courtyard, and leasing offices to serve both communities.
The design incorporates exposed ornamental wooden
trusses framing the pitched roof to dynamic double height
spaces connecting the two stories of the clubhouse.
Bernardon provided architecture and interior design
services. The project was recently completed and professional
photography is expected in Spring 2021.
