TO MOTHERS
Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, I want to take a moment to recognize the immense contributions that mothers make to our families, our communities, and our country.
Proverbs 31:28-29 says, “Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her; ‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ This verse highlights the importance of a mother’s role in her family and how her efforts are truly appreciated.
Mothers are the backbone of our society, providing care, guidance and support to their children and families. They work tirelessly to ensure that their loved ones have what they need to succeed, and they do so with a selflessness and devotion that is truly inspiring.
A mother is the emblem of love and she selflessly showers upon all the affection she has on her children. She is the person, who, without the intention of getting anything in return sacrifices all her needs and wants just to get their children’s needs fulfilled. Without the presence of Mother, our own existence would not have been possible.
As a nation, we owe a debt of gratitude to our mothers for what they do. They are the ones who teach us to be kind, compassionate and resilient. They are the ones who provide us with a sense of stability and security, even in the most challenging of times.
On this Mother’s Day, I want to extend my sincerest thanks and appreciation to all mothers out there. You are the foundation upon which our families and our communities are built, and we could not do it without you.
