It gives me great pleasure to address all mothers in the Turks and Caicos Islands, especially you the mothers of Abundant Life Ministries, and the Honourees here today on this special occasion.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day 2023, I pray that God continues to preserve your lives to be a witness to all the people of our Beautiful by Nature, Turks and Caicos Islands on this day and that he provides the strength to witness many more days to come.
Every one of us is blessed in some way or other to have the Greatest blessing of a mother, the one who nurtures and laid the foundation for life. Your love, care, and prayers helped us connect with real daughters and mothers in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
For some, their mother has already left this
world and is present with the Lord, therefore with heartfelt joy and pride give thanks for the love they gave to you during their time on earth, and remember that when someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
And so, on behalf of my family, my constituency, and by extension the communities of Grand Turk and Salt Cay, and the Peoples’ Democratic Movement Family, I take this opportunity to congratulate each and every one of you in your respective role. We are truly grateful to have mothers like you in our midst. For all that you do and for all that you are to us, I say thank you!
