A TRIBUTE TO MOTHERS
A mother is the emblem of sacrificial love, strength and devotion. Her
time is not only spent raising and nurturing her child, but also educating him and molding him into a productive citizen of this nation. Mothers dedicate their lives to fulfilling the dreams of her family, sometimes sacrificing her own dreams to ensure her children can live out theirs.
Mothers are fierce warriors, psychologists, nurses and innovators; combining instinct, compassion and support to give their family the best opportunity in life, is what they do best.
Mothers are the glue that keeps families together and a constant source of support.
Proverbs 31:31 says, “Honour her, for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. “
The love of a mother and her irreplaceable
presence in our lives, is so pure that we should admire her every day. On this Mother’s Day, I honour the mothers, both
here and those gone on to be with our Heavenly Father.
On behalf of my Government, I celebrate the mothers of this congregation, and the nation. May God grant them His continued strength, courage and
bounteous blessings today and always!
