As we celebrate Mother’s Day, I join the entire Turks and Caicos Islands in extending sincere greetings to all mothers in the Territory.
This Mother’s Day casts a special light in honor of mothers everywhere for the sacrifices you selflessly make to guide and support your families, communities, and our nation. We
celebrate your uncompromising spirit and
actions. Mothers across the Turks and Caicos Islands have proven to provide unconditional love and extraordinary strength. You support us in times of need and serve as our beacons of hope. Without your steadfast love and support, our country would not be where it is now.
We are grateful to you, our mothers, for
instinctively rising to the occasion as we
consider how God has sustained us through
numerous difficulties. On this Mother’s Day, may we all reflect on who we really are, what we can accomplish together, and what matters most. We witness firsthand on a daily basis the arduous labor of moms and other women who willingly accept the responsibility of parenthood while motivating and empowering those around them.
Please join me in recognizing their efforts, their innate care for others, and their sacrifices, which often go unnoticed.
