Hon. Charles Washington Misick Premier of the Turks & Caicos Islands
It is with deep honour and great respect that I pay tribute to a woman whose life of service, faith, and humility
continues to inspire our nation — Mrs. Anarean Gardiner Missick.
Mrs. Missick is a name synonymous with grace, steadfastness, and selfless commitment to both her faith and
her community. Through the years, she has exemplified what it means to live a life of purpose — one rooted in
devotion to God and in unwavering support to those around her.
She is, without question, a woman of virtue — a quiet leader, a source of wisdom,
and a steadfast believer whose character has shone brightly throughout our
society. Her contributions have touched the lives of many and continue to echo
across generations.
The Hall-Musgrove family, to which she belongs, has long held a place of distinction
within the Turks and Caicos Islands. Their legacy of service and dedication is well
known, and Mrs. Missick stands as one of its most enduring pillars. Her life is not
only a personal testament to faith and resilience, but also a reflection of the values
this family has instilled and carried forward for decades.
Today, we pause to honour Mrs. Missick — to acknowledge the quiet power of her
influence, to celebrate her faith in action, and to express our collective gratitude for
the example she has set.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands, I
extend our deepest appreciation. Mrs. Missick, your journey continues to light the path for others. Your legacy
will endure — not only in the stories we tell, but in the lives, we live inspired by your example.
May you be reminded today of how deeply valued and profoundly respected you are by this nation.
