Dear Family,
As a proud representative of North and Middle Caicos and a member of the Hall-Musgrove clan, I am honoured
to reflect upon our shared heritage and the significant influence our lineage has had on the Turks and Caicos
Islands. Our ancestors demonstrated resilience, ingenuity, and a commitment to
community, qualities that continue to inspire us all and shape our collective identity.
Since our inaugural reunion in 1994 in Pine Dale, Grand Bahama, nearly three decades
have passed, throughout this time, our bonds of kinship and cultural pride have
been strengthened across generations. As we gather once more; this time in Turks
and Caicos, the birthplace of our ancestors; we celebrate the enduring legacy of our
family and its vital contribution to the development of these islands.
The Hall-Musgrove legacy exemplifies perseverance and unity, serving as a source of
encouragement. Let us honour their memory by fostering community, promoting
education, and pursuing progress, ensuring that our rich heritage remains vibrant
for generations to come.
As Proverbs 22:1 reminds us, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to
be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” Let us continue to uphold the dignity and
values of our families, carrying their legacy forward with pride and purpose.
May we always remember our roots and strive to honor the sacrifices and achievements of those who came
before us. Together, rooted in our history and committed to our future, we stand as proud sons and daughters
of the twin islands, embodying the enduring spirit of the Hall-Musgrove clan.
