ROYAL TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS POLICE FORCE
We are taking an integrated multi-agency approach in the fight against crime. The PNP government will continue to build out the infrastructure to secure our people with resources, tougher laws and penalties. Your safety is our first concern.
• 75 new positions are being added to the police force.
• Expand the size the police force drawing on regional neighbours
when necessary.
• Develop a continuous training and fitness program for the RTCIPF.
• Align training and development to targeted roles and succession planning.
• Construct a high security remand centre.
• Construct a dedicated marina for the Police and Regiment in
Grand Turk.
• Increase marine and drone support to tackle transnational crimes.
• Create a multi-agency taskforce to review human trafficking/ smuggling and target proceeds of crime.
• Increased use of CCTV and electronic surveillance line with dedicated monitoring personnel.
• Improve crime reporting capacity.
