TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS REGIMENT
• Complete the construction of the patrol base with observation tower at Northwest Point, Providenciales.
• Acquire new vehicles and boats.
• Complete the Regiment Headquarters in Providenciales.
It will house personnel, specialist equipment, training centre for continuous military operational training and a deployable operation squadron of Marines with Headquarters offices, sleeping accommodation, dining, toilet and shower facilities.
• Recruit permanent staff of various ranks to sustain operations.
• Provide equipment to enable marines to operate at night.
THE JUDICIARY
• More investment in the Justice System infrastructure such as additional courts, remand centre in Providenciales. Expand court services to include reparatory justice programs, juvenile, family and rehabilitation.
• More deportations as the new Asylum Law makes it easier to repatriate illegal migrants. Those who enter the TCI illegally will get no refuge and those who aid and abet those breaking our laws will be punished.
