Completed the Walter E. Cox Sr. Administration Building and staff parking. Installed new seating, stanchions, and trollies in all airports.
Procured road and building signage for all Airports.
Conducted significant upgrading work at the Howard Hamilton International Airport including a new airside canopy, a new airline office complex, twelve new self-check-in kiosks, bathroom updates, new carousel belts, new carpeting and air conditioning.
Developed a national climate change policy.
Implemented stricter rules for the importation of used cars.
Launched the National Internship and Apprenticeship Program to provide young people with practical experience, training, and certification to better prepare them for the job market.
Advanced the transition to Digital Government. Several offices are fully digitalized including the Land Registry and the Naturalization and Citizen’s Department.
Introduced the State of the State Address to provide a detailed update on what is happening across departments and agencies.
Kept the commitment to have regular press conferences, community meetings and consultations to inform and engage the people.
The House of Assembly is back in the NJS Francis Building, where it rightfully belongs.
Completed and launched the VISION 2040 National Development Plan which will take us up to 2040 and beyond.
Completed major constitutional changes including that the House of Assembly will now become a Parliament with Members of Parliament who must be elected and will serve a five-year term.
