My Cousin Patsy
To my cousin Patsy, my mentor, the one I aspired to be like.
As I sit here writing these words, am filled with mixed emotions. My heart is overwhelmed with grief from your passing, but at the same time it is soothed knowing that you are in heaven giving the less fashionable angels some tips.
As a child, I secretly admired your beauty and mimicked your poise and overall deportment. To this day I still blush and am flattered when someone says that I look and behave like you. I have always appreciated your honesty, and although a little bit intimidated by your stern look. I grew to see straight through it and was able to see your big heart.
You have displayed love and loyalty to all of us, and left an imprint on my heart. I will miss hearing your melodious laughter, seeing you dance, and seeing that “yeah right” look on your face when someone is not being honest.
Sleep on my dear cousin, sleep in peace.

My sincerest condolences dear, losing a sister is beyond painful. Patsy was just an amazing lady....really loved her💔 from way back when she lived in Freeport. She always looked like she was on the cover of Vogue magazine, she will be missed.
