Our beloved senior citizens,
Wear many different hats;
Artisan, farmer and religious leaders, Are just but three of their skill set . Before day claim each morning,
They done finish a whole day’s chore; Yet they find time to support my initiatives, Walkathon, fish fry, straw market and more. They are serious no nonsense persons, Their time is a valuable commodity;
I’m thankful for their service rendered, Helping to develop their community . They are such an inspiration,
Like biblical figures some never age; Energetic and full of wisdom,
They are a Godsend! To God be praised!
Dedicated to all my wonderful, supportive senior citizens (retired or still going strong)

“My Creative Cohorts”
They always drive me crazy,
The way they take their time;
But when they do deliver,
Lord knows, they always blow my mind!
What’s with this set of people?
Seems like they’re both the same; They’re never on my timetable,
But lord knows their work brings me back again!
Each time I swear I finish!
Lord knows I too old for stress; But one look at the finished product, I immediately press delete and reset .
Throughout my time as DC,
I’ve had many creative cohorts; Lord knows I do appreciate all,
So, I’ll leave them with their own award .
To Dee Dee Hamilton and John Williams, You have constantly made me look good; Thanks for eventually delivering,
As I know you creative cohorts always would!
