Bellefield Landing, North Caicos is the gateway to the twin islands . North Caicos and Middle Caicos benefit from day-trip tourists who travel from Providenciales by ferries that call at Bellefield Landing and is the site for commercial business by the local freight company . The Ports Authority taking this into consideration, took the initiative to develop Bellefield Landing to support the economic development on North and Middle Caicos .
In 2021, the Ports Authority unveiled the Bellefield Landing Masterplan that would develop the site as a mix-used community port which will cater to the growing demands of the tourist industry and support commerce in North and Middle Caicos . The completion of the Welcome Center along with dredging and the installation of boat slips mark the first phase of the masterplan. Over the next few years, the Ports Authority will ensure completion of the remaining three phases of the masterplan .
The Ports Authority would like to extend its gratitude to Ms . Musgrove for her continued support of the port’s initiatives at Bellefield Landing. It has been a privilege working with Ms . Musgrove over the last few years to assist the port with achieving its organizational goals .
