The memories we created are one of a kind that I will cherish forever.
Every visit you would ask me to hold your hand. I would do anything to hold your hand one more time. But I won’t be selfish. You have fought a good fight. Take your rest Ole’ Gal!!!
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. LOVE YOU BABES.

How do I say goodbye and thank you to the most loving and beautiful person I have ever known. Mimi, we have been a part of each other’s lives for over thirty years and because of my son, your grandson, we have shared a special bond, like mother and daughter. Mimi, you have taken my son OJ, your grandson, loved him, taken care of him, molded him, supported him financially, as your very own child. And then, not only did you love him, you have loved me, my children and grandchildren unconditionally. Mimi, you know that I love you and I knew you loved me. I would often say “I love you Mimi” and you would always reply with “Gal, you know I love you, long time!”. Your love, laughter and memories will always be shared.
Thank you, thank you, thank you my love! Take your rest!
My Dearest Sister,
You have left me all alone. We held each other when Dorcas and Rose died, and we comforted each other when Michel left us. We were there for each other when Marshall died, and we said we are the only two left. We were all that we had, just the two of us. Now my sister, you have left me. Who is going to comfort me? Who is going to be there to tell me it’s going to be alright. My children would always say that I acted like I was the only person in the world that had a sister. It was because they knew that the love between us knew no bounds and your presence brought light to even my darkest of days. Thank you for loving my children and welcoming them with open arms and an open heart. Though my heart is broken and my life feels incomplete, I take comfort in the knowledge that you have gone to be with the Lord. From all of my children Vilda, Alice, Jayne, Ivis, Harry-o, Hillary, Sherman, and Nikki, and from all of my grandchildren. We love you and we miss you but God loves you best.
YOUR SISTER
