What Par@cipants did:
• Discovered how to mi@gate the threats faced by their Departments/ Companies by understanding the basics of developing a Business Con@nuity Management Plan
ConTnuity Planning Workshop took place in Grand Turk in June 3-6, 2019 and was facilitated by Dr. Evangeline Inniss-Springer, Deputy Director off the Disaster Department of BVI. The 4-day Workshop presented a clear methodology for protec@ng any type or size of business/organiza@on against any natural or man-made hazards that may result in a disaster. The Workshop took a form of “Writeshop” and at the end of the 4-day period each par@cipant completed at least 80% of the Business Con@nuity Plan for their Department/Agencies which is consistent with industry standards.
• They took advantage of the calm before the storm by crea@ng the Crisis Management Structures that is able to efficiently respond to a crisis event
• Took steps in the empowerment of their Departments/Companies to deal
with the first stage of a crisis by learning to develop a robust Incident
