There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude for the outpouring of love we’ve received in the wake of Phyllis’s passing. Your phone calls, text messages, visits, gifts, and acts of service have brought comfort to us. We want to extend a special thanks to those who prayed and waited with us that fateful day—whether in person or by a phone—and those men and women of God who stood over her, anointing her body and covering her in prayer. We acknowledge her close friends who have loved her and supported her in many ways over the years. And we are grateful to the Apostolic Church of God, and to the sisterhood of the ACOG Single Parent Ministry: we cannot thank you enough for loving Phyllis and being with her to the very end.
