Northern Nigeria situated in Kano state
 The market has in excess of over 12,369 commercial shops

trading anything from food, clothing, appliances, beauty and
home care products, pharmacies, shoes etc

 Load demand was 916 kW while installed capacity is 1MW solar
system
 500 shops were connected in the first phase with 6,000 shops to

be connected in phase 2
 Payment mechanism is via mobile money agents
