Project description

 The Sura Independent Power Plant (SIPP) is the first completed
EEI pilot, launched in Lagos and has a capacity of 1.5MW.
 The market has about 1,048 shops with a wide range of both

commercial and trading activities
 Project was commissioned in October 2018 and about 80% of

the shops have been connected; each connected shop is
metered
 Payment mechanism is a prepaid system
