Ryan has always admired the late Joan Rivers and could easily fill
her Louboutins if she based herself there. But she refuses to relocate. “I

would never want Violet to go to school in America. I’d be terrified. She
went to a summer camp for a week and asked to go to school there and

I said: ‘No, they have guns, you’re not going.’ Gun crime terrifies me. I
don’t have to worry about being shot by the police, I’m not going to be

a victim of racism or xenophobia, but I’m still scared about it.”
