What has been your most life-changing experience while
travelling?

When I was younger, we would visit Cork in Ireland, where my dad’s from. Being
from a small town in Canada [Sarnia, Ontario], many people don’t even have
passports so I was unique among my friends. I’d come back and tell them how
amazing Tayto crisps were. If I hadn’t been to Ireland I don’t think I’d have been
comfortable moving to the UK. That said, when I moved to London in 2008 I hated it.
Everything was old, filthy and crowded. I was convinced I was going to catch typhoid.
