WORLD POLIO DAY

Here is a selection of the stories that clubs
have sent in about planting crocus corms to
celebrate World Polio Day.....
Torquay
The Rotary Club of Torquay planted over 4000
crocus corms at Torquay Academy.
Preston Plympton Rotarians joined together with
Plymouth Mayflower Rotarians and their
Members of the Rotary Club of Preston, along Plymouth Albion Ladies sponsored player, Rachel
with a team of gardeners and volunteers from the Miller (see story on page 16) in the planting of

Dawlish Water
On World Polio Day members of the Rotary Clubs
of Dawlish Water and Dawlish, plus several
volunteers, were out planting 5000 crocus corms
on Tuck’s plot in Dawlish. Some members have
been pondering what happened to the corms
planted in the same place last year
