In the Grotto Every little helps a lot

Over three consecutive weekends before Tavistock Rotary Club enjoyed their Christmas

Norrie Philips said afterwards: “I really don’t know
where to start with thanking people. Tesco were
superb: they provide all the food and drink. I
know people say every little helps, but that was
far beyond what we could have hoped for.

“Even then, the food has to be cooked and we
really owe a huge debt to our chef Malcolm
Morrison and his team. This was our first year
hosting the lunch but it certainly won’t be our
                                                 last.

A total of 1500 children visited the Grotto and “It was so good to see over 50 guests enjoying

between two charities – Cornwall Air Ambulance us, especially the Tavistock Lions, the URC and
and the county’s Leukaemia Trust. Yelverton Rotary Club.”

Steve Ford, for the club, said that plans are
already in hand the run-up to next Christmas.
