Free Year of Membership Winner
As a thank you to everyone who completed the survey, we randomly drew a name from the respondents to win a free year of membership in Centered Riding. We are pleased to announce that Sue Hughes was the lucky winner!
In 1983, Sue was a member of the USDF/Hopkins planning committee, which invited Sally Swift as an American instructor. After riding with her, Sue, who was also the education chair of the Midwest Dressage Association at the time, immediately arranged to have Sally come to the Midwest yearly to give clinics. Sue became certified by Sally and continued through the levels to Level III, where she maintains her riding to this day. Centered Riding principals appear in every lesson Sue teaches and remain at the forefront of her mind. In addition to her maintaining Level III membership, Sue also served a term on the Board of Trustees from 2000-2001.
