• Other tasks, such as promotion of the Sally Swift Birthday Celebration and Creative Tip of the Year, etc. will take place in a timely way, with reminders to leadership, as needed.
• Marie notes staff and the executive office always available to help in supporting CR’s mission and work.
• Haley reported on work with logo store items project, noting it has been difficult to maintain contact with Personalized Impressions representative; she suggests moving to another vendor; BOT agreed. Haley will explore other companies/options, and report at next meeting. Peggy
Brown suggested Haley should look into Land’s End.
Committee Reports:
Administrative Policies and Procedures: Carol Parker and Executive Office staff will work on review/update of Administrative Policies and Procedures.
Communications Committee and Finance Committee: Mary Trafford’s (Communications) and Brenda Messick’s (Finance) reports reviewed.
Level II Upgrade Committee: Dorothy Crosby reported six Level II upgrades in November and December, with excellent representation from six different countries, as follows:
• Silke Birmes (Germany);
• Caroline De Grox (Belgium);
• Ilona Flittner (Finland);
• Maja Frederiksen (Denmark);
• Mariam Melisse (The Netherlands); and
• Heather Sansom (Canada).
Level IV Advisory Committee: Report from Gail Field reported Committee reviewed and approved application from Catherine Gratzl (Austria) to be Level IV Apprentice.
Liaisons and Regional Representatives: Sue Falkner-March reported on communications received from Rebecca Cook (USA, Great Lakes Region), Stine Joy Langkilde (Denmark) and Hanako Shirai (Japan). Hanako’s report included some questions, which Sue Falkner-March and Marie Westlake will answer.
Marketing Committee: Paula Ohlin reported on her plans and goals for future initiatives. Nominations Committee, Promotion Fund Committee and Scholarship Committee: No re-
ports for this meeting.
Publications and Newsletter Committee: Mary Trafford reported:
• Winter 2019-2020 edition of Centered Riding News issued on January 7 – last issue
developed with Mary as Editor.
• Mary will assist Editor Susan Harris with Spring 2020 issue and is developing newsletter
procedures document.
• Mary will continue editing articles, and providing advice and support, as needed; Kathy
Culler will continue as graphic designer.
