Welcome

As Managing Director of IDG and on behalf of the Commandant,

the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, may I welcome you as a
participant on the PEF Transformational Leadership Programme.
We are honoured to have been asked to conduct the programme
over the next few months and hope you will find it a truly

inspirational experience.

The aim of the programme is to raise participants’ leadership
capability and to provide a heightened awareness of how leaders

can improve their organizational and team performance by
changing their leadership behaviour. By running the programme
at Sandhurst, we are able to benefit from over 200 years of
leadership expertise and experience the unique impact of a

world leading leadership centre of excellence. The programme
provides a mix of theory, reflection and importantly, a chance to
practice leadership behaviour through a number of activities
conducted over 4 and half days at Sandhurst.

This is not an academic course. It is a pragmatic approach to
actually changing behaviour and performance. I’m sure you will
find the programme hugely beneficial not just during your time

at Sandhurst but also when we conduct a follow up two day
module in Nigeria in a few months’ time.
