SILVER SPONSOR 2021 Meezan Hamzavi

Meezan is a 16-year-old student athlete who loves basketball, serves on her
student council as secretary, and is defined by her volunteer work. During the
pandemic she adjusted well to doing online work but combined her compassion
for others with her talent for baking and created her own baked goods company.
She is an inspiring student liked by both teammates and classmates. When she
was first diagnosed, she was tearful, but has dealt with type 1 head on and hasn’t
let this disease define her.
