Impressions across our social media platforms
Evident in the tables above, the trajectory of
Eco-School’s social media remains positive for
our key performance indicators.
We have evidenced increased engagement
across all channels, particularly on Instagram,
where we saw a 10% increase. Although our
efforts to attract more young followers on
Instagram have been successful, we have
also attracted followers outside our target
demographic, resulting in a rise in overall
follower count. However, our young follower
count has yet to achieve our goal of an 18%
increase year on year.
The method of monitoring engagement from
young people will be reviewed when setting
targets next year as to not confuse overall
growth with the growth of a specific audience,
in this case young people.
While increased followers typically result in a decreased engagement rate, we have experienced
the opposite trend. Our engagement rate has increased, which indicates a strong interest in the
content we share and underscores the effectiveness of our strategy.
This is a significant achievement and highlights the strength of our content.
