         Develop community recycling facilities in town centres and promote repair and
                           re-use facilities to encourage zero-waste shopping.



        West Park Primary, working alongside a local business, have continued to develop their own
        Zero-Waste shop that they hope will grow into a convenient zero-waste shop for the whole
        West Park community. Find out more from this site created by their Year 6 pupils or by reading

        Pencoed Primary School have been reducing clothing waste, and helping family’s financially,
        through their swap shops. Initially started as a uniform swap shop, they then developed their
        ‘Waste Not, Wear Lots’ seasonal rails including Halloween costume, and Christmas jumper
        swaps, and onto toys and a lot more. Read more here.








                     Work with schools to promote Active Travel and Road Safety



        Pengelli Primary School  have been working collaboratively to promote sustainable travel
        within their school and wider community. The Eco Committee met their local councillors
        to discuss how they could help promote walking and cycling along the new route between
        Grovesend and Pontarddulais. Read more here.



        Sketty Primary School have been working with Keep Wales Tidy investigate the impact of air
        pollution associated with idling cars outside the school grounds and have created a banner to
        go outside of school to spread awareness to the wider school community. Read more here.








         Support communities to create 30 new woodlands and connect habitat areas



        The Keep Wales Tidy education team delivered the My Tree, Our Forest: for schools Project, in
        which over 8000 trees were planted in 100 schools across Wales. You can read the full report
