“Gates” Footwork Drill

• Scatter “Gates” cones 1 yd apart all over ½ field
• Player finds gates to dribble through

Extension:
• Make area smaller

• How many gates can you dribble through in a 2-
minute period

• Can players get creative going through the
cones? i.e.: backwards, roll and push, scissors…
• Partners with 1 ball, how many gates can they

pass the ball through in a 2-minute period?

NOTE:
• TALK TALK TALK – Players need to communicate
while passing through cones.
