OPERATIONS UPDATES
Education and Training
December 5th to the 9th was a week filled with training and collaboration for Fleet Operations Leadership.
There were two 2-day sessions of Superintendent Seminar and Leadership Training, Wednesday was an
All Day Safety Event. Attendees included Superintendents, Maintenance Superintendents, Canadian Lead
Machine Operators, Crew Chiefs, and most of the Fleet Operations Managers and Assistant Managers.
The week was capped of with the Loram Holiday party on Saturday.
Coordinating this many people to leave their machine, and delay traveling home for shutdown was a big
ask and a big task. However, Kevin Burton, VP Fleet Operations felt the time was well spent and an im-
portant investment to the participant’s Loram career and supporting their skills used to keep the Loram
equipment running and managing their crews.
