Starting 4pm June 9 and going through 4pm June 13 , the Hamel office will be upgrading to IFS10. This is a major
software upgrade which will cause your EAM software (Novacura) to be down during that entire time. To minimize
machine downtime, you can get prepared by completing the following steps:

              1. Active work orders that the machine plans to complete will need to be printed out and the paper copies will
                                                          th
need to be used to update EAM after June 13 .
              2. New work orders created during that time will need to be captured via paper and entered when EAM re-
                 turns after June 13 .
                                  th
              3. Requisitions for parts needed the next week need to be released prior to June 9 .
                                                                                         th
              4. Shipments that will be received during the shutdown will need paper copies of the Receive Hamel Shipments
table from EAM so you can verify quantity and then use that paper copy to receive the shipment in EAM af-
ter June 13 . The warehouse will be working to get all standard shipments out before the shutdown.
                           th
              5. Attempt to prevent emergency part orders and shipments since these will need to be handled manually via
email and phone calls. Obviously getting emergency shipments of parts for un-planned machine failures will
be possible, it will just take additional time. Please send group text messages to all numbers listed below, re-
questing the part(s) needed, the location, and drop-dead need date (ie, when do you have the time to do the
maintenance). In order to receive the quick response and service, it is best to send a group text, this allows
people who are on PTO or out of town for the weekend to not feel like they are on call all the time.

The EAM team will be sending all ma-
         chines Work Order templates that
should be printed out and used to cap-
ture new work performed during the
shutdown. We realize this will be a signif-
icant disruption, but it’s necessary you do
your best to capture all parts received
and used during this time to maintain an
         accurate machine inventory.
