OPERATIONS UPDATES
Congratulations to the following employees who received a promotion in September!
Kyle Wesley was promoted to Manager Fleet Operations.
Jamel Mims was promoted to Superintendent.
Steven Madeiros and Christopher Real were promoted to Maintenance Superintendent.
Mark Reid was promoted to Maintenance Lead.
Loyd Rogers was promoted to Crew Chief.
Albert Torres was promoted to Commercial Driver.
The following employees were promoted to Machine Operator-2: Kristian Hall, Clifford Cagle, Shane Quirk, Chris-
tian Hardy, William Telford, Daniel Mcgowan and Jaime Haas.
The following employees were promoted to Machine Operator-1: Herman Duncan, John Tobin, Clarenz Blizzard,
Willie Dobson, Ian Fincher, Manuel Luebbert, Leonard Anthony, Jesus Hernandez, Jeffrey Hudson, Nicholas Clark,
Justin Sullivan, Christopher Machado, William Pierce, Laterrius Moore and Dylan Gibbs.
The following employees were promoted to Maintenance Specialist 1: Zachary Hassman-Watson, Brent Lee, Jose
Rodriguez and Christopher Porter.
Taxes Continued
With the background knowledge stated above it is the time of
year where we are starting to tie- up machines and should be
cognizant of where we are parking our machines. Important to
note that Carline Tax/Property Tax is charged to each machine
as appropriate. If possible, please avoid shutdowns in Maryland.
The potential assessed tax liability on a machine tied up in Mary-
land could be substantial due to Maryland’s very high personal
property tax rates.
To further assist us in preventing an avoidable tax bill, once it has
been determined when and where your machine(s) will be shut-
st
ting down for the year or tying up around the January 1 assess-
m e n t d a t e , p l e a s e s e n d a n e - m a i l t o :

chine(s). If there is an issue with the targeted location of the
equipment, I will let you know. By taking this pro-active ap-
proach we can work together to help reduce any avoidable and
costly tax liabilities for Loram/LTI and your respective machine.
