Leaving my dream with thy shadow
I run across thousands of miles for thee
Thorny paths
Stormy weather
Heat

Dust

Hunger
Weariness

Only to find myself in the midst of sorrow
I can't see the way ahead
The breath went out of me
It was all I could do to gasp

I see the stars shining
Although it's only a little
Through dark night they lead me
Getting closer
Warm and bright
To thy eyes that heal all my suffering.
