                                                            The Wisconsin DNR selected Ramaker & Associates, Inc. through a
                                                            competitive procurement process to perform environmental site
                                                            assessments for Wisconsin Assessment Monies (WAM) award sites.
                                                            Through US EPA Brownfields Assessment Grants, Wisconsin DNR hires
                                                            environmental consultants to perform site assessments at brownfields
                                                            sites throughout the state. DNR’s WAM program allows municipalities
                                                            to apply for funding to evaluate environmental conditions at
                                                            brownfields redevelopment sites. The funding may be utilized to
                                                            perform Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, and limited site investigation work
                                                            and is performed by a Wisconsin DNR selected contractor.
Ramaker’s environmental team is based out of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and includes geologists, environmental engineers,
hydrogeologists, hydrologists, biologists, and environmental specialists. Ramaker performs Phase I and Phase II
Environmental Site Assessments and site investigations for proposed redevelopment sites throughout the country.
Ramaker’s environmental team coordinates closely with other service groups within the company to provide a broad
range of services including geotechnical investigations and property condition assessments. Working as part of a larger
team, Ramaker’s environmental team is able to assist with real estate transaction and site development needs including
surveying, civil site design, and various environmental issues through construction management and contaminated
material handling.
