Matthew Saves the Day
I
was extremely shocked when I arrived at the
Diving Headquarters at Little Bay in Montserrat.
The number of people that were there, had me
scared more than ever before! I thought it was an
accident that occurred or maybe even a bomb
scare, but then remembered that today was a free
day! No one had to spend a cent! So because of
this many people had turned out.
After a while, Veetah, the captain of the Diving
Association, decided to make a count to see how
many people she had to take care of. The total
was 84! She decided to split us into two groups,
42 in one group and 42 in the other. A young boy
named Matthew, who was the vice-captain of the
association, asked everyone to go to the shore
with their own personal gear in the groups we
were assigned. Everyone got their gears, joined
their groups and headed to the shore like
Mathew asked.
