Matthew Saves the Day

After a while Veetah started choking and spitting

up a lot of water. After she recovered, she gave

Matthew a big hug and kept saying, “thank you,

thank you, thank you” over and over.

Someone had called the ambulance when they

realized that Veetah wasn’t responding.

The sounds of the sirens drew closer and closer,

followed by the sounds of the paramedics
running across the sand and shouting, ”clear the

way!” Veetah was strapped to a stretcher and

carried to the ambulance which took her to the

hospital.
