Honesty is the Best Policy
He picked it up; it was the wallet that Vanessa had
thrown there.
They were so shocked with what they had just
found out.
They looked at each other, convinced now that
Vanessa had stolen the money. Dad looked down
at the waste bin and saw the I.D card.
He picked it up and stared at Vanessa.
She really didn’t know what to say, she was caught.
“Vanessa!” Her dad exclaimed angrily. “Where did
you get all that money?”
Vanessa sat on her bed wanting to cry because of
what she had done and the way her parents
reacted.
“Vanessa, if you don’t answer the question I’ll…….”
