Definition of Energy Conservation
Energy conservation means using less energy and is a
behaviour or lifestyle change. It is the decision and
practice of using less energy, for example, unplugging
appliances when not in use and turning off lights when

ACTIVITY: QUESTIONING ASSUMPTIONS
Create a list of all the assumptions you can think of about
Energy Conservation – true or not – and discuss the list
