Honesty is the Best Policy

Mrs. Anderson called her husband and her
daughter to the table for dinner.

While eating, Mrs. Anderson was thinking about

what she saw in Vanessa’s room. Eager to find out

what her daughter was hiding from her,

Mrs. Anderson excused herself to the washroom.
She was going to sneak into Vanessa’s room.

She quietly entered the room and lifted the

mattress. She was astonished to see a large sum of

money lying there.

Quickly, she picked up the money and counted and

recounted it to be certain. There it was - $15,000.

Vanessa’s mother was shocked to see all that

money.

She yelled out to Vanessa. “Vanessa!” Vanessa came

rushing up the stairs thinking that her mom had

fallen in the bathroom.
