The candidate in her statement indicated that she was found
with the phone just before the beginning of the examination
and she was extremely sorry for disobeying the instructions of
the Invigilator and sorry for being dishonest.

CHEM (G) P010 (MC) The Supervisor reported that at approximately 1:32PM the
phone went off surprising the candidate. Further, the
Supervisor pointed out that there were reminders to candidates
to make sure cellular phones were not on their person.
In her statement, the candidate said, "..my phone was in my
pocket during the Chemistry Paper 1 exam. The phone was
mistakenly forgotten in my skirt pocket…". She further stated,
"the alarm rang during the examinations." She apologised for
the disruption caused.

ENG A (G) P010 (MC The Supervisor reported that a phone dropped from the
candidate's pocket at about 1:35PM, about 35 minutes into the
examination. Candidates were immediately reminded of the
rules and attention drawn to the posters in the room and
notices on the board.
The candidate's statement indicated he was unable to give his
phone to anyone before the examination started because he
received it from a friend just before the start of the session. The
candidate further indicated remorse over the incident.

FAMILY AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT TECHNICAL

FAMRESMAN (T) P020 The Supervisor of the examination reported that at
approximately the 10:30 a.m. the candidate was observed
looking down in her lap and concealing something. A closer
look revealed a cellular phone in her hand which she was
reading from. It was taken away and she was allowed to
continue writing the examination.
