PHYS (G) P020 The Supervisor reported the candidate was found with a copy
of formulae' on the back of his timetable. This was discovered
at about 1030AM and the timetable removed from the
candidate. The statement further indicated the candidate had
photocopied the Physics formula sheet onto his timetable and
the formulae were visible during the examination.
In his statement, the candidate apologised for entering the
examination room with the formula sheet and indicated he had
not used it "…for the entire exam until the Supervisor saw it and
took it away."
Recommended Decision 7.1 Unauthorized material. Cancel result in the subject.
PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTS GENERAL

POA (G) P01020 (ESSAY) The Supervisor reported that the candidate was found in
possession of a cell phone at about 10:05AM after a 'beeping
sound' was heard. He was asked to turn off the phone and hand
it to the Invigilator. The cell phone beeped again and a
10:00AM alarm time was noted on the phone. At this time the
battery was removed. Two witness statements support the
Supervisor's report.
In his statement, the candidate acknowledged having the phone
in his possession during the examination and indicated
acceptance of any penalties.
Recommended Decision 7.1 Unauthorized material. Cancel result in the subject.
Centre/Candidates: 0901501018
POA (G) MC P010 (MC) The Supervisor of the examination reported that the candidate
was observed with a cellular phone in his pocket by the
Invigilator. It was then confiscated.
In his statement, the candidate stated that mid-way through
the examination he was approached by the Invigilator and was
asked for the phone which was sighted in his pocket. He further
stated that on the first day they were told that "our phones
could be in our presence, but silently hence the reason for my
phone in my pocket, 9th May 2017.
Recommended Decision 7.1 Unauthorized material. Cancel result in the subject.
