ESTIMATE OF ENTRIES FOR THE
CVQ 2018 JUNE SITTING
SUBJECT ENTRY
1. The Council continued its participation in the delivery of quality assurance services to
providers of the Caribbean Vocational Qualifications (CVQ). A total of 1361 CVQ and 1932
transcripts were awarded in 2017.
2. Five (5) territories participated in 2017: Barbados, Dominica, Jamaica, Trinidad and
Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
CANDIDATE ENTRY
3. Using information which was provided by various ministries, it is projected that candidate
entries for CVQ in 2018 will be approximately 6205.
