Peter’s Special Soup


         One weekend, he went into the bushes and caught

         a long slithering serpent.


































         He  skinned  it  and  chopped  it  up.  When  he  got

         home, he seasoned it with garlic, onion, thyme and

         several other herbs. Then he proceeded to prepare
         a pot of peas soup. He put in dried pigeon peas,

         breadfruit, eddoes, yams, dumplings and finally the

         well-seasoned chopped serpent’s parts. He warned

         his family, not to touch or eat that food.
