there was no answer. She knocked again and still

there was no answer. Then Billy remembered that
grandma always leaves a spare key under the

front door mat. Billy found the key and used it to

open the door. They looked around but there was

no one there. Soon they got a phone call from

grandma saying that she was in jail and that they
might have to spend the night alone. She told

them to make something to eat; lock the doors

and windows and make sure they stayed inside

until she could figure out how to get out of jail.
