The Scary Iguana

Terrified, she ran inside and told her mother what

she had seen. She did not tell her brother

because he was a coward and would be more

scared than her. Her mother was afraid of the

iguana herself. So, she decided to call her
neighbour - Mr Edwards.

Mr Edwards was an iguana hunter. He had been

hunting iguanas since 1992. Back in the days, they

called Mr Edwards ‘The Hunter’ because on the
weekends he caught iguanas and had a roadside

fete with his captures every Sunday.

He got his tools and went about the business of

capturing the iguana. This reminded him of the

good old days so he decided to have a Sunday
evening fete. The following week, he invited the

whole neighborhood to his house. He cleaned

and seasoned the iguana; it was ready for

cooking.
