CHERISHED MOMENTS

DPS Newtown has been a home

to me since I stepped into the

campus back in middle school.

I had changed nine schools by

then since my parents had a

transferrable job. However,

little did I know that Kolkata,

the city of joy had its own

shades to offer. I won’t deny

that the biggest challenge I

faced having landed here was

that of a culture shock. Having

come to live in the eastern part

of India for the first time ever, I

had to get accustomed to the

ways of life of what was

seemingly a new world for me.

Thankfully what got me going

through tough times were my

friends and the lasting

memories that I made with

them.
