“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”- These wise and insightful words have
the power to help us face varied challenges in these difficult times and overcome

them too. As the pandemic forced schools to move the education system online, the
educators in schools have found ways and modes to impart education that extend
beyond classroom basics. Students and teachers have learnt and adjusted to new

ways of teaching and learning, developing a strong soulful bond thus exploring the
innate talents of the students and honing them.The significance of education

always remains on the highest pedestal of importance. Therefore, the online
platform, as a welcome alternative medium, has been used judiciously, sincerely

and optimally by the students and the teachers. In spite of its many limitations, the
‘E-Learning’ system has been able to help the students continue with their

academics and beyond; while, at the same time, it has aided them to develop many
new essential skills and values to enable them become ideal global citizens in the
future. My sincere appreciation to the Principal and her efficient team of facilitators

for taking up this new challenge so enthusiastically and imparting education in
these trying times. My best wishes to the Editorial Board for their new endeavour of

‘Udaan’.Last but not the least, this effort could not have been fruitful without the
relentless support of all parents who have been so cooperative all throughout.
