My most cherished moments of life in DPSN date back to
my middle school and high school days. I’ll never forget
the first day I stepped into my classroom. I calmly
opened the door which displayed ‘VI-D’ only to be
greeted by a mad circus.
Interestingly enough, instead of welcoming me, my
classmates were keener to know if I had
entered the right classroom.
Moving on, High school was completely different but
unique in its own way. Our sections got shuffled. More
importantly than losing old contacts, I made new ones.
Hustling and bustling, burning the midnight lamp, we all
managed to survive the month-long nightmare.
The biggest takeaway from this was the journey of these
two years in high school. I have enjoyed every single day
spent with my friends in IXA and XA. A handful of us
went for an inter school fest to Delhi and that was the first
time I properly mingled with the seniors. We were the
youngest of the lot so they made sure we are all
comfortable. Bit by bit the days went by and suddenly out
of the blue I was in grade XII. We were to appear for the
boards again, only that this time there would be no
looking back.
I have grown up here.
I have been shaped here. And that’s my school – DPS
NEWTOWN. Thank you DPSN for having faith in me. I hope
to become an alumna you will be proud of.
