Page 8 - Udaan Trial Book
P. 8
Instead of living in fear and sulking, let us remind ourselves that
we have come this far and need to move ahead. Nothing lasts forever and this
too shall pass. Especially during this stressful year, it's important to reflect
on all of the blessings we have.
I am so grateful to my students and teachers who have taken up this new normal so
enthusiastically and really appreciate the effort put in by them to carry on in-spite
of the turmoil in their lives. They have been an inspiration for us and I respect and
value the way they are trying to continue in life to adjust and accept the changes and
trials that are coming their way.
This magazine and all that we have done this year from academics to extra-
curriculars is an example of the positivity that is present in our school. For that I am
ever grateful.
So let us not quit, let us not give up in the face of these challenges. Let us appreciate
what we have and remember that there are some who dream of living our life.
Times will change and it is up to us to make the best of the opportunities that are
present. Gratitude brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. In fact
once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight
of the things that you lack.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said “Cultivate the habit of being
grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks
continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you
should include all things in your gratitude.”
My heartiest congratulations to
my team for bringing out this e-version of our magazine “Udaan,” which we have
re-named “Udaan.. on wings of dreams.”
As Robert Brault said “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and
realize they were the big things.”
